I find it incredible that all of the families don’t remember that they are on national TV, and millions are seeing their bad manners and their criticism of others. The Linz parents should be ashamed of their boys at this point for their ill mannered remarks about the Weaver family. They were especially hard on them and making fun of the Mom, who is doing a good job with being a single parent. They should have not had such bad manners a couple of time either, meaning the Weavers, but the Linz siblings really went overboard. They were incredibly gross in their remarks and some of their actions even with their sister in the car. Some may think they are hotties, but I hope someday some of this comes back to haunt them.

  2. matrixity Says:

Absolutely agree with ladycholla’s comments. The Linz family are adults behaving disgracefully on national TV with their childish antics, verbal ridicule and disrespect towards others, including their sister. They may have won, but it was painfully embarassing to watch them win this ‘family’ race with such a lack of dignity and grace.

  3. Jen Says:

absolutly agree with both of you, the Linz’s were both rude and disgraceful as a family. I dont even recall the Weavers saying or doing anything to make the Linzes treat them the way they did. The Linz’s pretty much set all the other teams against the weavers. In my opinion, the weavers races with the best motives and atitude.

  4. WhoDEY Says:

You’re all kidding me right? The Weaver’s are the biggest hypocrites that I’ve ever seen and I’m embarrassed to share the same faith as them. I’ve never seen people so clueless before in my life - to bad mouth pretty much every team - and then wonder why no one likes them? Talk about RUDE and DISGRACEFUL.

That scene in the airport where Rolly and the oldest Linz fell - Rolly pushed him from behind. I actually watched it in slow motion to see when they replayed it after the commercial break. Then the Linz brother gets up and pats Rolly on the back and Mrs. Weaver yells “Get your hands of my son!”.

What about when the Godlewski girls were consoling the kids at the race track while Mrs. Weaver was racing. The Godlewski’s were hugging them telling them that it would be ok - and as soon as they leave - all the Weaver kids could say was that they couldn’t stand those people.

The Weavers are just a nasty family. If you don’t see that - then you’re definition of rude is way off from the rest of the world.

  5. Joni Says:

I agree with the above comment. The Weavers are who should be ashamed. To have a mother acting just like her teenage kids-disgraceful.

  6. Denise Says:

I absolutely agree with what WhoDEY says. The entire race the Weaver family was complaining and moaning about how persecuted they are. They brought it all upon themselves. They are the ones who had snippy little comments every time another team talked to them. They made up derogatory nicknames for every other team. They claim to be Christians but I saw very little Christianity reflected in their behavior. I hope they have watched themselves and can see how they came across to the audience. I know sometimes editing has an effect on perceptions of people on reality tv but that can’t all be editing. I was disappointed that the team who shares my faith behaved so very badly.

  7. karenjen Says:

those who have seen the race from episode to the finish can well attest how catty and snotty the weavers. they always held themselves above the others. the mother is just so egoistic. i figured it was a race tactic to keep to themselves but when they feel left out or out of place because they couldn’t relate to the other families they then complain and whine they’ve been ganged on. thus, the wall grew taller. they did it to themselves. they always act as if they’re the victims. hello? can’t you see they are such a big hypocrites? the throwing of trash to the godlewski car. loudly telling the boat driver to slow down another boat. telling the ranger guard to slow down the linzes with a history of the canyon. i mean come on? who’s being rude now? she is leading her children with that we-are-christians-we-are-above-them attitude which is actually making it worst. did they ever do anything to bridge that widening gap with the other teams? no siree they didn’t. and why would they get mad for being yielded? and ganging up on dj paolo for doing so? and when a task was just burdensome, they complain loudly and oh-so-heavily.

they should watch the whole episode so they’d know how exactly they behaved. and the linzes? they were consistent with their behavior all throughout. sure they were loud, but all were made in good nature. it wasn’t their intention to bad-mouth the weavers. they were just real people with real feelings.

i am so glad the weavers didn’t win!

“Congratulations Linz Family”, I was routing for you the whole time. I feel you are a motivation for a lot of young adults.

CONGRATULATIONS! Linz Family (Alex, Tommy, Nick and Megan Linz)

Hello, Linzes. I just like to congratulate you for winning The Amazing Race: Family Edition. I was routing for you since the race started. You’re team is really cool and awesome. Before, even if you were second to the last place on the start of the race you didn’t give up. That’s what I really like about your team and it was so cool. I never take out my sight on your team. From time to time, you reach higher places and now your winners. You know what? You’re team change me a lot and understand more about life. That’s why you’re team is so special for me… Hope to know you better.

Thank You, Linz Family… Again, Congratulations!

    WHODEY? It’s Linz Family

Omedeto to the Linz Family…..I was so happy when the season finale that i could see them won the race.i can’t believe there are fans out there who support the Weavers family??!!They would be the first ever family that i had ever seen to have the attitude that i couldn’t stand - egotistic & worse worse behavior! They act like they are a good person & the rest of the teams are jerk..And how dare they claim themselves as “the last good family in the race”??!!And they like to simply compliment anyone that would possibly help them in the race,eg:taxi driver - Ted…i was worried that the Linz family would do things wrong and stir things up…but luckily, they did so well in the final episod!!And not forget about the Bransens family that would bring out the tense & competetive in the final episod…

  12. Robbie_Live Says:

    PHIL KEOGHAN SHOULD’VE WON! :P :P

  13. Jenn Says:

I agree with WhoDey. The Weavers’ behavior was absolutely disgraceful. I felt that many of the actions they displayed were certainly NOT Christian. They complained about the tasks, about the people, about everything under the sun. While many of hte other families at least tried to get along with each other, the Weavers were disliked (and for good reason). They behaved in an immature way and all I can say is, CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LINZ FAMILY! I cheered for you guys all through the show and had the time of my life watching you yield the Weavers.

  18. Anna Says:

    Hey,
I agree with whoever said the linzes turned all the families against the weavers! I dont recall linda weaver shouting get your hands off my son, nor the linz brother patting him on the back.
Linda shouted dont touch him, and the linz brother said its lucky i didnt brake his arm . . and soon after . . he called rolly little bugger.
The linzes constantly bickered about the weavers and used immature name calling to get them angry . . . some of which include rolly polly and thunder thighs!
If you ask me, the linzes were a disgrace to the whole show!
    Go the Weavers!

  19. gabby Says:

The Linz family did not deserve to win this race, their comments were disgraceful, if they were my kids I’d be totally ashamed of them. To make rude and derogotary comments about another persons personal appearance is nothing short of disgusting. If their parents haven’t given them a good talking too and made them make a public apology about their comments about the Weaver family then the parents are rubbish like their kids. If you havent lost someone close to you in your life, then you have no idea what it is like. The Weavers were no doubt grieving for the husband and father still, to make such crude comments about them milking it is uncalled for. I’m sure the Weavers will have good luck come their way.

  20. Jodie Says:

If you watched the Race from start to finish you will clearly see that the Linz family started a ‘hate campaign’ against the Weavers when they mistakenly took the family asking for help at the airport (before their first ever flight) as them conniving and plotting behind the other teams backs. From then on ‘we hate the Weavers’ became a common catchcry. No wonder this family felt alienated, they were clueless to what had bought it on. And let’s be real here folks, we are talking about a newly widowed mother and her three kids. I can not believe anyone would support the Linz’ behaviour, they took it to a very personal level, on a number of occasions calling one of the teenage girls fat. These people are not, and should not be viewed as role models. The Weaver’s remarks were obviously on the defense as they fought to understand where the hatred came from. They should hold their heads high for refusing to fratinate with bullies, despite it obviously alienating them even further. I know who earnt my respect!

  21. Lauren Says:

Go the Linz’s i say! I loved them from the beginning! Of course there’s going to be fights and arguments between the families, thats what makes the show! Who cares really, its all fun and games, all teams said something nasty bout each other, ya can’t bag out the Linz’s and the Weavers when they were both at each others throats. Its a race for a million bucks, of course teams arn’t going to get along!

  22. getreal Says:

i personally know the linz family and i think its ridiculous that you can actually say that they are rude, disgraceful, and horrible to their sister. there all adults with strong personalities and a sence of humor. if you cant take a joke you have a problem. if you didnt notice they were checking on megan the whole time making sure she was ok, holding her bags, and letting her do the easier work in the challenges. the weaver family is a disgrace to there own beliefs and hopefully after seeing themselves on tv they realize that. gooo linz’z

  24. Lee Says:

It all comes down to this: the Linz brats are rude, disrespectful and were raised with the silver spoon in their mouths. They not only were arrogant on camera to all the teams, including the Weavers, but they were arrogant to many taxi cab drivers and others who they RELIED on to get their “holier than thou” bottoms places they needed to go. I counted at least a dozen times when one of the boys’ mouths were calling drivers a ridiculing name. I don’t care if they have a sense of humor. In show, it sounds and looks rude and disrespectful. They deserve a million Lava bars in their mouths, not a million dollars. NO ONE understands the Weaver’s mother’s position. The last 2 teams are still in a whole family. They havent suffered a loss. How fortunate they are. It just goes to show you that we as americans judge so freely. Because they look or are diffrent… those kids and mom have more respect for others than the Linz’s will ever have… and in that respect, and in many others, they are richer than anyone in this world.

  25. Noelia Says:

Congratulations Linz (if you are reading this). I have to admit that my first choice was teh Gahan family but I was worried what would happen if they got into a non elimination legs and they had to be without the money with the kids.

But I also felt bad for the Weaver… Until I saw how they were. The mother acted like an histerical-bitch but oh she made sure to make everyone know that they were good chirstians. Because it is SO Christian to talk shit about others. And the girls were as annoying as the mother, who wouldn’t stop complaining about everything. I felt sorry for the boy, Rolly (who I though it was a girl, maybe because all I heared in the Weaver Car were female voices). If he had to go and do something he would go and do it. He rarely talked and it seemed as if he agreed with his family whenever he did talk.

There were times when his mother would go and say one of her rude comment and Rolly didn’t know how to act. Maybe the Weaver’s mother acted like that because of the pain and also the girls but Rolly was the youngest one and she had to at least try to act like and adult. The children had already lost an authority figure, they didn’t need a leader who would complain about everything and say she was chistian when she had such an rude attitute.

Once again I must talk about Rolly (on, I’m not madly in love with him) because he looked cute and everything but I had found in internet (or Bizarre-land) so many sites talking about him being (I quote) HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT. How old is the poor kid? Or how old he was when disturbing messages started to pop all over internet about how OMG! HOOOOOOT HE IS! And could her fans had at least the descent to write whit coherence? or was it that to much to ask? I’m 19 and my first language isn’t English and I had never been in to a country were English is the main language so I’m having a hard time trying to find some sense to some of the comments…

Anyway, I read he is gay but I’m not relaying on Internet. However after spending 600 hours in a row, and many years hearing his sisters and Mother I wouldn’t be shocke if he’d decided not to be near a women for the next lifes. (I don’t pretend to use gay as an insult because I don’t see it that way, love is love and nowadays love seems to lack in the world).

I hope the Weaver had wathced the show and realized how mean they were (even if we all now that the program has been edited to make us react in certain ways about the teams). But I am happy they didn’t win.

The Linz kids gained my love beacuse they were so childish in the good way, so full of energy and well-disposed to play, but I also liked the Bransen and felt so porud of the father because even if he wasn’t the youngest member and couldn’t keep his daughter’s pace he did the best he could and you had to love that ♥
Well, I cut it. (And yes I have to many free-time)

-Sorry for the mistakes, I tried to make it as right as possible, wihtout using a traslator because as an internet information, I don’t think they are very reliable.

-If you had read all the comment without falling sleep congratulations to you too!

  26. LanaGirl Says:

Linz’s deserved to win right from the start they didnt take everything so seriously and they just let everything roll as it went lol =]

the linz guys were pretty cute i must say XD

WEAVERS DESERVED TO LOSE COZ THEY WERE DISRESPECTFUL!!!

  27. Martin Says:

Linzs definately deserved to win outright. I liked the weavers to begin with then they just got irritating when they were like ” we are of a higher class than them” they are just too snobby. I dont want to be disrespectful, their father did die on a race track and that must be a very traumatic loss for them and i do feel sorry for them but i think they played on it a bit much on the first race track challenge they were like im not doing it then on the second when they opened the clue the kids had like no reaction as if were any other task and then the mum comes along and starts bossing the official around!!! Im really glad the Linzs won they hardly ever bickered or moaned at each other they were just thankfull for what they achieved. The Weavers were given a second chance and didnt even want it!!!

So… To sum up!!! lol i really did think the right team won i was routing for them ever since the beginning and am sooooooooooooooooo pleased they won!!!
