Aieeee, make the noise stop!
Is it possible to have negative goodwill?
After a strong finish in leg 7, the Paolos go to hell, at least that what it seemed like to me - more bickering and threats, they give dysfunction a good name!
I’m wondering if after this DJ Paolo will ever get a date. Marion’s comment “I’m hope you never get married. No woman would put up with your nonsense” is spot on. Geez, what’s up with threatening your mother. I know they say that’s how they are but it still doesn’t make it right.
Teams left Costa Rica after a couple of tasks and headed for Arizona or as Megan (Team Linz) said “Yay back to English”. There they did some go-cart racing and I found myself torn between feeling sympathy for the Weavers and wanting to knock some sense into them with their holier-than-thou attitude.
I am starting to see why the other teams feel alienated from them. What’s up with throwing trash at other teams (even if it is against your own car window)?
But it was pretty funny seeing them gang up on DJ Paolo to question him on why the Paolos yielded them. He was so uncomfortable in that scene!
I dug the airplane task - that was soooooo cool though I would have had a major case of vertigo.
In the first part, the Paolos thought they were last and they were in middle of putting on all their clothes (in case of a non-elimination) when the Bransens came in. I had such a laugh when the Paolos came onto the mat with still wearing their clothes…was Tony Paolo pulling a Superman and wearing his undies on the outside?
The Bransens were last but since it was a non-elimination leg, they were stripped of all their cash and possessions.
After a 12 hour rest, teams made their way to the Grand Canyon to pick up a clue before heading on to the detour. The Linzes were in the lead but the Godlewskis managed to catch up as both teams raced for the pit stop because their boat was lighter.
The Paolos got lost and after much bickering (all the way to the pit stop too) they were eliminated. Yaaay! Bye bye Paolos. The only person I will miss is Brian.

the dad said mama paolo and dj are so much alike thus the constant fight and arguing however petty the issue was. i still maintain dj should respect his mom at all times and remember that she is a parent, and a mother…good luck to whoever he’ll end up with o:)

Thank goodness the Paolo’s are gone. I hate them so much. I can’t find out why no body likes the Weaver’s. I love Them(espically Rolly) They are a great team and the fact that they are Christian makes them even better.
