CBS announces teams for The Amazing Race family edition

CBS has announced the lineup for the upcoming family edition of The Amazing Race.
10 teams of 4 with ages ranging from 8 to 57, two of the families have kids under 10.
In an interview with USA Today, Bertram van Munster, the show’s co-creator and producer talked a bit about what to expect from season 8.
For one, there will be fewer non-elimination episodes. Teams also travelled less - 30,000 miles compared to 72,000 for Season 7
Says van Munster of the family edition, “Anytime you put a family of four together, you get interesting dynamics. It’s a pretty humorous and explosive mix”
CBS News has profiles about the families and on the multimedia section you can see the video introducing the teams.
I was a bit mixed about having a family edition but having seen the line-up I’m looking forward to seeing how everything will work. I wonder if teams comprised mainly of adults will have an edge over those with kids?
